My Original Artwork
My Original Anime

Welcome to my anime page.  Some of these are new and some are old ones that I drew from a few years ago. There are 27+ pictures to look at on this page, and there's more coming. I divided this page into 3 groups: computer, colored sketches, and black and white sketches. I'm going to add a pen and ink section soon. The newest picture has a wood frame around it.         In this section of anime, I used the computer to color my pictures. No, I didn't use the paint program (even though I use to), but I used a cd program called "Photodelux Home Edition," and I'm doing most of my coloring with that. I've heard of other computer cd programs that are really good and are used by a wide variety of people, who draw anime, like "Photoshop" and "Flash MX." I've downloaded a trial version of "Flash MX", but I can't figure out how to use it. Some of these pictures are a mixture of pencil and computer. I like coloring on the computer cause it makes good highlights.

This turned out better than I expected. I was trying some new things on photodelux and it looks really good now. I originally did this pic in colored pencil, but I went in and added highlights in the hair and face and I made the whole picture softer-looking. Oh, by the way, this is Nuna from my story Lunocrist.

anime136.jpg

This is Nuna and Kato from my story "Lunocrist". I think it's a cute pic, but it took me forever to do. The first time I colored it, the program (that I use to color my pics) formed an illeagal opporation and I had to shut it down right when I was done....and of course I hadn't saved it. Ugh, oh well, I think it turned out better the second time I colored it.

anime127.jpg

I stayed up really late doing this one. I didn't know what colors to use at first, but it came out nicely. My most favorite part of this pic is probably to eyes and the jewel on the necklace thing.

anime113.jpg

This is a person I drew in geometry. Heehee. I had to ajust the fingers because it looked like she was flipping someone off lol.

anime111.jpg

Lol. Don't ask me what I was thinking when I drew this one. Well, I thought she was cute anyway. However, I messed up on the right leg. Oh well.

This one was inspired by a MMORPG called Astonia that I played for a while.  Fun game actually. Anyway, the flower has meaning but I'm not telling hahaha :P

Ugh...this one took me 4ever to color.

This is a scene from my first story. The little girl is Shezara and she's riding on Dyntai's back as they try to escape the planet as it explodes in the background. I colored it on the computer obviously, and it turned out pretty good, but I could have put in a better effort in coloring the rocks; however, my eyes kinda got tired after 3 hours of gazing at the computer screen.

Shu! Isn't she cute? ^_^

This little girl is Shu from my second story, which is a sequel of the first one. I did this one with pastel pencils at first, but I touched it up a little on the computer.

Just a random character. The hair looks kinda flat and 2D. I was aiming for more of the 3D look like her suit.

anime93.jpg

This one turned out better than I expected. I messed up a little on the halo, but everything else turned out pretty well.

Adina- a character from "Desire for Peace"
Photodelux

This is a character from the prequel of my first story that I haven't finished (imagine that). Her name is Adina. You've probably already figured that out. The thing I liked most about this pic is her face--it brings out her character a little.

This was never a scene in my story, but I think it's kinda cool looking.

anime60.jpg

This is one of my first pics that I did with Photodelux. It looks pretty good actually. By the way, it's Shezara.

anime6.jpg

I was inspired long ago by an anime called Sailor Moon. I was proud of this one lol.

aniem4.jpg

Sorry there was so much space below this pic. Anyway, this is Lee from my first story. It's an old one and you can tell cause I don't draw eyes like that anymore.

Here is the anime that I did in colored pencil and pastel. Most of it was from a long time ago except for the top pics. I didn't thing that anime would look all that good with pastel, but now, I think I like using pastel better than colored pencils. You get more depth with pastel. I recomend "Conte" pastels or "General's Drawing Pencil Kit". Both are really good and easy to handle, because the pastels are put in the form of pencils. "Conte" pencils (the kind I use) have wider lead and come out more gritty than "General's" pastel pencils. Read the bottom of the picture if you want to know what I used to color it.

anime115.jpg

This one was done for my English teacher.  I did it with pastel, and it looks a lot better face to face.

coverstory.jpg

This was the cover picture of my first story.

anime101.jpg

Bunnies! lol I think I was bored when I drew theis one.  I drew the girl's face  first and then decided to put bunnies in it.

anime128.jpg

This is me and the main characters from my first story in chibi style. It took me a while to finish it, but it came out great.

anime75.jpg

Chibi Lee and Shezara! ^_^ I didn't know whether to add the flowers in the background or not,  but I did anyway cause it needed somthing in the background. I could have spent more time on the flowers but it's cute anyway.

anime22.jpg

I liked drawing this character, but in this picure I probably should have put a surface under the girl, so it would look like she was sitting on somthing. I didn't really like the blue color that's on her hair, but I thought it looked good with the brownish color of her skin.

Large Marble 3

These are my only black and white anime pics. I usually don't draw a whole lot of anime sketches, but when I do, I draw them with HB or 2H sketch pencils. Sometimes, I will draw them with the regular no 2 pencils, but I don't really like using mechanical pencils unless I'm drawing a sharp or fine line. I can't remember what kind of pencils I used to sketch these pictures, because these are pretty old, so I can't tell you what I used.

anime129.jpg

This is just a little sketch I did of some girl surrounded by wires and other stuff.  The posters on the wall are posters of various anime shows, and the poster lying on the floor is of a j-pop band called "The Pillows".

anime123.jpg

This is Nuna from my story "Lunocrist". She loks kinda different than usual in this pic cause I was experimenting with her image. I like the armor the most about this pic.

anime121.jpg

This is Shu and Kierin from my sequel of my first story. Shu is the little girl and Kierin is the boy. This one turned out really well over all.

anime120.jpg

This is Nuna from my story "Lunocrist".  Her hair isn't really anime style, but I just wanted to do somthing different. This is more of what she looks like than the other sketched picture I have of her. "Lunocrist" takes place in an MMORPG that's why the screnery is unusual. There's a meaning to the ocean, but I'm not gonna tell :P

anime104.jpg

This is a scene from my sequel of my first story. Lee and Julian. Lee's listening to a conversation going on in the room next to their room. If you're wondering what those black marks are on the wall with the window, they're drawings that Julian has drawn. I think he needs some paper.

anime125.jpg

This is the updated pic of Shezara (you should know which story she's in by now lol). It's actually not this dark, my scanner just kinda messed it up. Well, at least you can actually see the pic now. To answer a couple of questions I get about this pic: No, she is not stabbing herself with the sword. The sword is sheathed. She is just holding it close to her. Yes, she does have hands. They are just covered by the long sleeves.

anime19.jpg

This isn't any specific character. You can probably tell it's an old one. She's a biker kitty person thing I guess. Call her whatever you want.
