Three years
later, Shezara was somewhat finally over the dramatic events that occured in her life, although she would never forget them.
But those three years lead a new start for her. One day while Shezara was sitting on the same hill that she stood
on many years ago when she first arrived on earth, Lee saw her and approached her shyly. They talked for a few moments, and
then Lee held her hand and looked at her. Shezara, who was looking straight ahead at the valley's beauty, turned her head
at Lee. Lee smiled at her and she saw a gleam in his emerald eyes that she had never seen before. Then Lee asked her to marry
him. Shezara couldn't believe her ears. Lee stood silently waiting for her responce. She smiled happily and suddenly,
Shezara threw her arms around his neck and whispered, "Yes, I will" in his ear. Dr. Vince stayed with them and taught Shezara
how to read and write. Sanyu and Kiora would often visit them, and they helped Shezara and Lee rebuild their house. They also
built another small house for Dr. Vince.
One
year later, they were expecting a new member of the Sarkue family. She was finally happy, but she never forgot her people
or planet.
